My Usual Process for SEO
It is up to you what you'd like me to work on. If you've already run numerous audits and are just looking for an SEO freelancer who can implement your proposed strategy, I can help. If you're looking for someone to take the lead and plot out a detailed strategy, that works too.
In most cases I begin by conducting numerous analyses — both on your website and on your competitors'. My findings are detailed in a report that highlights the proposed strategy for getting the site appearing for the right traffic.
It's essential to outline and keep clear in mind what the strategy is, so we can pursue it effectively and reach a measurable goal.
Tracking Set Up
So we both know the SEO is making tangible progress, it's important to have tracking set up. I deploy most of my tracking via Google Tag Manager and tend to use Google Analytics for traffic reporting.
SEO Strategies
My SEO strategies detail findings found during keyword, competitor and content analysis. The strategy expands on what I plan to do and how it will help with your rankings. All strategies are white-labelled.
Site Health Optimisation
Site health optimisation is about ensuring pages load as fast as they can, using as little weight as possible — usually caused by large, uncompressed images. It also covers crawling and rendering issues.
Local SEO
Local SEO, also known as Local Listing Optimisation, includes optimising the Google Business Profile listing. Local listings matter for local businesses — they're what get you found in the map pack.
Link & Citation Building
My link building strategies vary from business to business, but one thing they all share is that they are white-hat. Meaning no penalisation from search engines and no spammy website traffic.
Metadata Optimisation
Metadata is important — it's used as the first impression by search engines when displaying your website. I leverage CTRs by displaying the right metadata to increase traffic and search engine rankings.
What is SEO?
Search Engine Optimisation is all about optimising your website for search engines — so it appears completely organically, not by paying to rank highly. It requires a long-term strategy aiming to maximise your website's visibility. SEO is a method I'd recommend investing in as early as possible, and continuing to play away for years to come.
